The Gelt Charitable Foundation’s mission is to ensure that communities receive the mental, physical, and emotional help they need. Through programs such as Lone Soldier Adoption, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Education, and Recovery Programs, we have assisted dozens of communities nationwide, ensuring that help and prevention are affordable and easy to access.

Our Team

Leigh Ioffe

Director of Education

Leigh Ioffe is Gelt Charitable Foundation’s Director of Education. She brings over six years of experience working with at-risk and suicidal youth. To date, Leigh has schooled 5,000 people internationally in suicide prevention. Additionally, Leigh is a published author and curriculum developer at CogWell. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and daughter.

Jack Miller

cEO & Founder

Jack Miller founded Gelt Financial in 1989. It quickly expanded to one of the largest independently owned mortgage and finance companies in the Philadelphia area. In 2020, the Gelt Charitable Foundation was founded. All his life, Jack Miller has been a lifelong believer in the power of the common man and his or her purpose and obligation to uplift others and bring light in the world.

Ella Steinmetz

Director of Operations

Ella Steinmetz is the Director of Operations at the Gelt Charitable Foundation. Her work with teenagers at CTeen & UMatter of Sarasota, Florida, has led her to have a passion for mental health awareness. Ella has organized many programs and events, and in her free time, you can find her hanging out with her nieces and nephews. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband.
